Ksilink proudly announces the publication of exciting results in the journal “Cancer Biology & Therapy”.

In fact, the technology for Personalized Functional Profiling (PFP) of gastro-intestinal cancers, has been initiated in 2016 by Ksilink in collaboration with the Heinrich Lanz Zentrum and a team of clinicians from Universitätsklinikum Mannheim (UMM) and Strasbourg”s Institut hospitalo-universitaire (IHU). The ambition was to establish a proof of concept for the PFP technology by using biopsies from patients with classical treatment resistant cancers in order to identify alternative treatment options within only several weeks out of a selected panel of approved drugs.

Based on this POC, Ksilink has successfully transferred the PFP project to the Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH), who is now coordinating several clinical trials in the field of gastro intestinal cancers, including liver metastasis, and glioblastoma. We are very happy that this promising technology has now produced thrilling results for the scientific community as well as for the patients and are looking forward for its evolution.
